Wildflower x Kini Swimwear

This week, we’re proud to share with you two gorgeous designs from one of our happy Kini customers. Wildflowers is a prominent voice in the fashion blogging world, sharing her styling tips with her legions of followers on her blog and Instagram. She created two beautiful bespoke bikinis with Kini just before Christmas, and although she spent the festive period in cooler climates, we hope she still got chance to show off her stunning designs.

Wildflowers Nautical

Her first design is a beautiful retro-inspired piece in navy and white nautical print. The underwired top paired with high waisted bottoms is vintage chic at its finest, and the combination creates a visually classic aesthetic as it reveals a slightly smaller amount of skin. The high waisted pant is a style perfect for hourglass and pear shaped girls, and Wildflowers further plays with this by using alternate stripes on the side panels of the pant. This clever effect tricks the eye and creates a visually slimming illusion.

Nautical is an elegant piece which never falls out of fashion and flatters every body type, which is why we have a nautical set on hand in our ready to wear shop. The timeless print looks stunning on Wildflowers and it is a popular style, as you can see from this design that Eva Catherine created for us a short while back.

Alongside her elegant two piece, Wildflowers also let her creative juices flow for a second design which jumped aboard the current trend for all things clashing.

Known as a fashion faux-pas for many years, boldly clashing prints is a brave move, but one that earns huge style points as it is currently the epitome of fashion to sport mix and match styles. Wildflowers uses a quirky mix of Dark Rose and Leopard Print, two bold statement prints which she has co-ordinated through the use of a block background colour.

By choosing prints that share a black backing and adding black panel detail to her Kini, Wildflowers creates a visual link between her two mix and match bold prints, which is important when you clash your prints. Wildflowers looks stunning in her custom Kini, and she can feel safe that she will be the only one at the beach rocking this unique piece. For more tips on clashing your prints take a look here.
