The Ivory Diary x Kini Swimwear

Designing your Kini piece is an exciting experience as you can really allow your creativity to flow and we love seeing the designs that you envision. We really enjoy seeing how you create your bespoke bikini, so we loved the feature Canadian fashion blogger Sara Botton from The Ivory Diary wrote on her Kini experience! Sara writes her gorgeous blog from her new home of Spain and it covers fashion, travel and lifestyle.

Sara decided on the racer style top telling us that she chose it because ‘it’s sporty and fun’, and that it definitely is! The racer has been the stand out piece of the year when it comes to swimwear and we love the different ways that it has been customized and transformed by you. The designs we have seen have ranged from sports luxe chic, like Amanda Bisk’s gorgeous piece, to animal print fierce, as seen on Lion Lion Bazaar’s Bronte’s fabulous set.

Sara went for a sporty edge with her two piece choosing the skinny pant to accompany her racer, which is a perfect choice, as these bottoms are lightweight and provide little restriction for any beach side activities. She went for a block colour effect, which is always a great style for the racer top, in navy, black and white. She also added a black zipper to her racer, which gives an extra edge to the look, as the scuba style hint adds another dimension to sports luxe style.

We love Sara’s finished design and we cannot wait to see her rocking her bespoke bikini! We love watching the creative process behind your swimwear designs, so feel free to share any images of you designing your own Kini – which you can do right here!
