Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

Ah, polka dots. It’s a swimwear print that has never gone out of style since it was popularised during the 1950’s and 60’s. During this time, bikinis were still considered very risqué. Fast forward fifty odd years, and now women are encouraged to wear their bikinis with confidence – something we wholeheartedly support here at Kini.

Recently, Ally Carey from Substance Blog created two custom bikinis using our swimwear design tool, and of course, one of them featured a timeless polka dot print. So, in celebration of the almighty polka-dot, we decided to share a collection of our favourite polka-dot bikinis through the ages.

There’s no doubt that polka-dot print bikinis are here to stay. If you’re looking for the perfect spotty bikini to add to your collection this summer – Kini is the place to shop. You can either design your own bikini using our custom swimwear tool, or purchase Ally’s gorgeous 1950’s inspired bikini from our ready-to-wear shop.

Remember – if you purchase a bikini from Kini during the month of October, $5 will be donated to the NBCF to support the fight against breast cancer.
