The height of summer calls for days spent seeking out the sun, which, in turn, calls for beautiful bespoke swimwear to keep you looking stylish. We love seeing your designs and one of our favourites this week came from Perth style blogger Jiawa Liu. A woman of many talents, Jiawa is a lawyer by day and a style mogul at all other times, keeping us updated via her gorgeous fashion blog Closet Voyage.
Jiawa designed a stunning bespoke creation in grey and pale pink, in tune with her own style which she describes as ‘relaxed minimalism.’ The classic colour combination is elegant and minimal, similar to this dainty two piece designed by Frilly Skirts. The light pink on the cup paired with the darker grey is a subtle technique to aesthetically enlarge the bust, a great tip for pear shaped ladies. This is further enhanced by the gorgeous frill, as detail on the top is great for helping to balance out a pear figure.
Choosing a 1950’s style underwire top and retro brief, Jiawa’s bikini is a timeless classic, as it mimics vintage swimwear style, a trend which will never fall out of fashion. Take a look here if you are interested in designing your own retro inspired swimwear. This combination works beautifully on hourglass and pears, as the cut helps to enhance the natural curves of your body.
Jiawa told us she loved her swimwear because it is ‘definitely something you won’t find in the shops,’ which is a value that we pride ourselves on. We love being able to offer you the tools to create something that fits your sense of style and will allow you to own something totally unique.
